Children and Health in Sierra Leon
Connie Britton visits a children's hospital in Sierra Leone where she
meets a 4-year old Jeneba. Jeneba arrived at the hospital very ill from
TB and pneumonia. One month later she's now on medication and doing
well. 1 in 5 children in Sierria Leone die before the age of 5 of
preventable, treatable diseases, but at this children's hospital
hundreds of kids are receiving free care so they can live productive
lives. Contact your elected officials and ask them to support effective
programs to improve child and maternal health.
